| Description | Hi Kerwin, SKB QA found an issue that the screen is showing while auto reset when TV is on. https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/BPM-16740 Reproduce step: 1. Go to sleep mode 2. adb connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 4. adb root 5. adb push update.zip /cache/ 6. adb shell 7. echo "--update_package=/cache/update.zip" > /cache/recovery/command; reboot private_recovery 8. While auto reset, keep the TV on 9. Each TV is different, but the TV screen is displayed after rebooting We are tested ATV10 and ATV12, this issue is occurred both. I think it seems that doesn't check for the case where the TV is on. Please check this issue ATV10 and ATV12 both. Thank you. Kim | ||||

Hi Kim, I check the log file. And i found the message "androidboot.enableSystemReset=0" in logcat file. --> SMART3 is in not auto reset mode. I alse test in my side and the result is ok. 1. Which version does you upgrade ? form .. to ? 2. CEC state of SMART3 3. Please help to provide the files of /cache/recovery Jerry |

Hi Jerry, 1. We have tested below versions. [ATV 10] 15.534.28 -> 15.534.30 15.536.26 -> 15.536.26 [ATV12] 15.537.46 -> 15.537.48 2. This issue is not related CEC state. Because I tested with monitor (Not support CEC), this issue is occurring. Anyway, we tested both CEC on and off, this issue is still occurring both cases. I have attached video file. Please refer it. 3. I have attached /cache/recovery file. In this case, I used FW 15.536.26 to 15.536.26. Thank you. Kim |

Hi Jerry, Our QA tested your test FW, it seems OK. But our QA found another issue as below. While auto reset, if user input power key, the screen will showing. At this time, if user input power key,the screen is not turn off and still showing. Our QA compared with SWAN, SWAN is working well. (The screen will turn on / off when user input power key) Please check this issue also. Thank you. Kim |

Hi Kim, I can reproduce in my side. But Please check with the link https://mantis.cnsbg.foxconn.com/vaas/view.php?id=768#c3021 Question 3: The feature is only provide to turn on TV via IR Power Key, right ? And the feature does not provide TV off. [SYOON] There is no scenario of TV Off now. I think the STB is normal mode, not private_recovery mode after STB received Power on signal from RCU. So we followed normal scenario. The normal scenario is that STB don't need to process IR signal during SW Upgrade Process. Jerry |
